A blue butterfly would comes and visit me for years, once a summer. Like a spirit visiting. It would sit on me, next to me, kiss my face, play with me. The year before my dog Bren died, the butterfly came and took a nap with her. After Bren awoke, the butterfly played and danced with both of us a very long time. After Bren died, there were no blue butterflies for two years. One finally visited again last week.

This freesong made me think of this wonderful time when spirit helped soothe suffering. For me, that is the ultimate power of freesong. To soothe the energy when things are painful.

Remember than the words of a freesong mean nothing. They are vocables used for sound texture. It is the emotion that comes with freesong that means what it should for the singer, and each listener. Never the same. Always personal. Aesisaya was the most striking vocable of the freesong, so I made it the title.
